Hey, it's Winter Break, I've got to make sure my brain doesn't turn to total mush. Besides, I take "geek" as a compliment. The answer is 1.037. Algebraically though, I got stuck at 3 plus ln(3) = 2x^3 plus ln(6x^2).

i got up to x*e^(x^3) = -e^(3/2)*(1/2)^(1/2)
