+278 How can you say 'being gay isn't natural'? Some monkeys are gay. Look it up. Monkeys didn't 'become confused and are told they are gay'. amirite?

The people who say homosexuality isn't natural are seriously old fashioned - look in the sky, there are planes flying - how is that natural??

Fun Fact: bats are the gayest species.

There are animals species in which the female will eat the male after she gives birth. That occurs in nature, so if humans did it, it would be justified, amirite?

We aren't saying everything that's natural is okay for humans, we're just saying being gay IS natural, so the argument that gays and lesbians should not be allowed to marry because it's "unnatural" needs to be thrown out because it makes no sense.

Until you can show me the gene that causes homosexuality then I believe, people have a right to disagree with it because it is a life choice just like some people choose to spend their life doing meth. I know I know meth and being gays are on opposite ends of the spectrum but they are still on the same spectrum.

We don't know which genes in particular cause a lot of things--it's nearly impossible to identify the ONE gene or section of DNA that causes hair color, skin color, height, nose shape, sexuality, whatever. And just because it is not a choice does not mean that it is in your DNA. Some tests have shown that the amount of different kinds of hormones in the womb while the mother is pregnant affect the sexuality of the child. Anyway (I'm going to assume that you're straight, since you're disagreeing with the gay "life choice"): Can you imagine having a crush on, being in love with, or having sex with someone of your own gender? Could you hypothetically, even if you wouldn't, CHOOSE to do that and enjoy it and want it? Because it goes both ways.

Actually they have most of the Human Genome mapped out and decoded. And I am simply defending someones right to disagree with another person's life choices, because "anti-gays" are usually classified as bigots, ignorant fools,(and some are) but some just disagree with it and since we live in America that is O.K. just like being gay is O.K. people are entitled to their rights. It goes both ways.

People don't *choose* what they like. Our preferences are just automatic. If I could choose I'd choose to like everything (sexuality/foods/music) 'cause then I'd never have to do things I don't like. It's not as simple/easy as that.

It is completely natural. It has been shown through multiple studies that when a population exceeds the carrying capacity individuals begin to preference others of the same sex. It is natures way of controlling population. This has been shown in bats, mice, deer, and if applied, clearly in humans.

This is ridiculous. If being homosexual were natural, something in our genes, it would have been weeded out of the gene pool long ago, because homosexuals cannot reproduce. Also, from your post, OP, it seems that you are a supporter of gay rights and equality and whatnot, but here you are comparing homosexuals to monkeys. That's really an insult to homosexual people. Animals are NOT humans; animals have different minds than humans, and to compare the instincts of an animal to the actions of a human is to compare apples to oranges. Animals have no concept of right and wrong.
