Well, that might not be an absolute of course; where people come from affects how their family speaks, which is the biggest influence in how we speak. It just seems, even just to look at these comments, that certain pronunciations are more common to certain areas.

I say both, but koopon seems to make more sense. I don't know, I'm in North Carolina, and koopon seems to be said more. Southern thing?

I say 'qpon' and I'm from Texas. The only place where I've heard anyone say 'coopon' is the automated voice on a self check out register :/
