+477 It'd be absolutely amazing if even for one night we could see what the sky would look like without any pollution, amirite?

The sunset probably wouldn't be so awesome

umm...i hope this includes light pollution or else it would be useless

"any pollution" ... Why I do believe it does.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

just clarifying

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Unless you ONLY mean light pollution, I'm pretty sure all the gas pollution wouldn't do much anything...

I thought that I'd avoid all the comments about which pollution I meant by saying ''any pollution'', like ChubbyBunniez already said. Plus, if you live in a city smog can obscure your view.

hm, guess I can't say I know where you're coming from with that as I live out in the country. I'm one of those people that sees everyone crying about global warming and pollution, and I'm sitting out here saying "you know it's only because you're in a hot cramped city, right? Nothing has changed out here" lol

I live out in the country too :) Well, not too far out, but close enough. I just noticed one night around 11 when I was walking in a forest that although it should be pitch black as it was in December, I could still see quite clearly because of all the lights from cars and a town a few km away, and that even though it was cloudless I couldn't see that many stars.
