Homosexuality is between two consenting adults while pedophiles sexually abuse children. It's in no way the same and you can't compare it.

Pedophiles should not act on their sexual urges because forcing children to have sex is seriously damaging to the children and to society as a whole. On the other hand, consensual sex between two adults of the same gender, doesn't do any harm at all so there is no reason why they should not act of their sexual urges as heterosexuals do.

Here is my answer: Yes. People would still have a problem with homosexuals even if they didn't act on their sexual desires. There are people who believe that homosexuality is a choice and those people would still hate homosexuals for being in love with people of the same gender because they'd think it was a deliberate act against God. People would still hate homosexuals no matter what because they think homosexuality is gross and unnatural.

I see. Gay people make you uncomfortable so you want to force all gay people to suppress their sexual urges, give up hope of having a family, and live alone for the rest of their lives. I totally understand. You see, I think Catholic people are gross so I'm to force all Catholics to stop practicing the religion they love and convert or something. I also hate bagpipe music so I'm going to make that illegal too. I'm so glad I've found another person who agrees that personal comfort is way more important than the freedom and welfare of thousands of other people.

Yeah. Like, if someone said to me "I like children in a sexual way, but I don't act on it because it's illegal" I'd get the hell away. Or, get them counselling. And, there's a recent debate on whether pictures/cartoons of children having sex counts as child porn, as it's not actual children being abused, but it's still fucking psycho if you like it.
