Because people who play an (arguably) harmless video game are so much worse than rapists and serial killers. Arguably because some people who don't manage their time well may very well become addicted and/or suicidal due to too much time on the game. Not everyone who plays is a fat, lazy, forty-year-old virgin in their parents' basement. To be honest, you're probably a lower form of life than most Warcraft players due to your succumbing to stereotypes. Grow up.

Oh yeah, because someone who plays Brink, Oblivion, Gears of War 1-3, Fable 2-3, Bioshock, Portal 1-2, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Dead Rising, ExciteBike, Left 4 Dead 1-2, Just Cause 1-2, Saints Row 1-3, Legend of Zelda (all of them, except on CDI), Mario (all of them), Super Smash Bros 1-3, Guitar Hero 2-5, Tony Hawk (most of them), Arcade games, Mass Effect 1-2, Red Dead Redemption, Crackdown, Dragon Age Origins, Dragon Age 2, Skyrim, Borderlands, Call of Duty (all of them), Donkey Kong (most of them), Star Fox (the old shit), Assassin's Creed 1-2, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, Assassin's Creed Revelations and LA Noire can't be considered a nerd.
