Lyrics by Ke$ha?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's "Like a G6" by far east movement. P: and I know right? Why were songs so lame back then?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Please tell me you're joking with the second part of that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Obviously I'm joking? xD I love how people immediately vote me down though.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Just checking, never know with how idiotic some people can be, especially when it comes to music.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's very true haha. but LOL!!! I just LUUVVV justin bieberrrr <3333333 !!!! :))))

by Anonymous 13 years ago

are you joking about that second part too?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

NOOOO JUSTIN BIEBERR ISS MAII FUTARR HUSBAND :)))) imma kiilll Selena gomezz lol(:

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I'm just curious, but how does one not liking 70's music make them idiotic? Everyone has their likes and dislikes and who are we to judge others due them? Unless of course it's that one girl, Justin Bieber. Kidding kidding~

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Not just 70's, when they only appreciate/say that radio pop today is what's good. That's when I believe they start to cross that line into it idiocy. Such as saying Like a G6 is the best song ever, I think they've crossed that line a little to far.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's more of a generation thing and besides, there are people who think your crazy for not finding it to be the best song ever. Who the hell even means it when they say that 'this is the best song ever'? Ask them about another song five minutes later and THAT will be the best song ever. Some people don't like older music, even from the 90's and thats just their tastes, it doesn't make them an idiot. There isn't a line to cross or a line at all other then personal preference..

Way to compare the best of that time with the worst of this one.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

that's what I was thinking.

And the people bowed and prayed to the neon God they made. And the sign flashed out its warning, in the words it was forming. And the sign said, "The words of the Prophet are written on the subway walls, and tenement halls." And whispered in the sounds of silence.- Sound of Silence What happened to songs like that?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love this song. So much. I read "neon god" and knew it was Sound of Silence immediately.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

There are still songs with good lyrics, but they might not be as mainstream.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I wish I could have been alive for the disco era..

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's because everyone was doing acid in the 70s. Everybody is stupidly sexual now in a obvious way... :/

I LOVE KASHMIR SO MUCH<3333333333333333333333

"Blazing sky in all its glory the stars fill it with light the star you wished on fell to earth and set my heart on fire" Modern lyrics aren't what they used to be but they aren't all bad.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I love Sara Jackson-Holman

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Generalize more please.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Before I leave brush my teeth with a bottle of Jack, cuz when I leave for the night I ain't coming back. -Ke$ha Pretty darn creative for these days, don't you think?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They are the egg man! I am the egg man! I am the walrus! Goo goo cjoo! - beatles :)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ahem. 70's: Black Hole Sun, Won't you come.. And Wash away The Raiiinnn Black Hole Sun, Won't you come... Won't you come... Wow, Perverted? lol. Modern: Lets Go All, The Way Tonight. No regrets, Just love.. lets just dance, until we die. You and I, Will be young forever.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? Did you just say Blackhole sun was from the '70's? more like '90something. I mean I understand your like 12 so your daddy was most likely spanking it to your grandpas Playboy stash when it came out, but really?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you think that's what all music today is you only listen to the top 10, there are plenty of songs with meaningful lyrics. And nice job stealing from Tumblr.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I like that you stole this from Buzzfeed.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

yeah, all everyone listens to now is the rap, no offense to anyone, but most of the song are pretty awful. Some Ke$ha songs are good, but the alternitive music is more like the 80's and 70's and stuff.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Only the shittyass pop, rap, and hiphop music sounds like that. Like that crap on Z100. I was too lazy to read all these comments so sorry if somebody said this already. :p

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You cant compare 2 different genres of music to each other... - . -

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Like a g6 is a club banger...as in something they'd play at a club while people try to get drunk, so your comparison is crap

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OHEMGEEOHEMGEE KASHMIR I FRACKING LOVE THAT SONG

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I was JUST listening to Kashmir :D Such an awesome song.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Although I agree about pop songs, my favourite genre has some more meaning than just breaking up, partying and glitter. (Sum 41 and Blink 182 rule.)

by Anonymous 13 years ago

A lot of songs these days have amazing lyrics, with so much meaning. Yep, most mainstream songs have similar lyrics to this post, but that wasn't a very good, or fair, comparison.
