+438 Next time you give someone your number, write it in roman numerals, if they call, they passed the test, amirite?

You won't get laid that way...

Unless he likes intellectuals. Or a challenge.

So tell me... How do you write your number in Roman numerals? Because I totally want to try this.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Let's say your number is 425-7956 I'd just to (425) CCCCXXV- (7956) MMMMMMMCMDVI Done.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You used D incorrectly. D is 500, L is 50. CDXXV - |V|MMCMLVI With the | | representing a line over the V, I just couldn't do it here.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oops, haha my bad. Thanks for correcting that.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Huh. Maybe that's why she didn't call...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

:( must be.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

>.< Can you just tell me what each letter represents? Like M, it seems, is for 1000, and everyone knows that I = 1, V = 5, and X = 10. But other than that, I don't know.

Awesome, thank you. <3 But... what's 0? My area code starts with a 0.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't think there is a zero, and I don't think it matters. Let's say that your area code is 045 or something. I would just write that as VL. Since an area code is 3 numbers, and you wrote '45' in Roman numerals, it's obvious the area code must be 045, because 405 or 450 or something are completely different than VL.

What if there's a zero in your number?
