That depends. If the person who died was only dating the person for a week, and had a best friend they'd known since pre-school, i think the friend would be hurting more

my boyfriends brother died two weeks ago, leaving his girlfriend of two years to sort out all his stuff, cause he moved to Japan when he was 20.
