I considered not talking to my parents until they let me go on my band trip. Then I realized how stupid and difficult that would be. I still kinda want to do it, though, just to see if I get my way.

My dad always changes the channel in the living room while I'm trying to watch TV and tells me if I want to watch TV I have to go into my own room. I used to get so annoyed, and I once resolved that everyday I would stay in my room the whole time I was at home so that they'd miss me. It never happened./white girl problems.
