It's a particularly vulgar swear word, and swear words are by very definition offensive.

Not really. Cunt is a great insult, but sounds horrible and really douchebaggish if you're all "Ay gurl, I wanna fuck your sweet cunt. <3".

I always ignore that when posts I agree with are aimed at one group. I mean, I happen to agree with you, and despite the many swear words I've used, some of them rather frequently, I've never said that one.

It's unneccessary and disgusting. I don't find it offensive, per se, as it doesn't apply to a group of people but an object. It's just such a foul, ugly word. And it's an *extremely* crude insult. That's when it gets offensive.

"You're a dick." "Eh, shit happens." ----- "You're a cunt." "TAKE THAT BACK. YOU JUST CROSSED THE LINE." So, girl parts are more offensive and meaer than guy parts. Awesome. Personally, that's my favourite swear word, and I don't think it's offensive.

I don't really like it when it's used to actually refer to a vagina but even then it doesn't bother me much. It's just not that offensive, to me it's no more offensive than using pussy, since they mean the same. Although they tend to mean different things when used as insults, which is interesting

I don't cuss.. but i really don't understand why people are so offended by it.. i just see it as another cuss word.. people can say stuff like "I'm so mad I could punch a baby" and be fine with it but the minute the "C" word is dropped everyone loses it.. lol
