-183 Instead of having Saturdays and Sundays off of school, it would be more logical to have Saturdays and Wednesdays off, amirite?

I'm fairly certain they do something like that in France. They have a half day on Wednesday, and a half day on Saturday. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Just because it's French doesn't mean it's logical. In fact, those words almost contradict each other.

Having the two days together means people can take cottage weekends and such, there would no point in driving 4 hours only to have to immediately drive home. There is also the religious significance of both days.

Saturday has religious significance? I actually had no idea.

The Jewish sabbath is Saturday.

Saturdays, Sundays AND Wednesdays seem more logical to me. Because there really is nothing worse than waking up on a Monday morning and realising that you're pretty much deprived of freedom for the next five days.

I think it makes way more sense to have like a month long summer break and have Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday off and have several random week-long breaks. I get bored during the summer and want to go back to school. During school I get bored and want it to be summer. This would solve all of that :D
