+477 Girls: you'd like to slap the person who decided it was a good idea for us to shave every square inch of our bodies, amirite?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Chest, back and face make up a lot of area too- dudes. We just have legs and pits.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Do most guys really shave their back and chest? Also, girls have to shave their bikini lines.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Have you seen dudes with hairy chests?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

My boyfriend has a natural hairy chest...albeit it's not grossly hairy but it's got hair on it. I do love me a man with hair on his chest, it's sexy to me.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I think it's hot too I'm just saying I've neve met a guy with a hairy chest.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

That's odd. Every guy I know with the exception of one I believe, doesn't do any body shaping or upkeep.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well guys can be weird. I dont really see the point of them shaving unless it's their back (gross). And I don't get why some girls shave their arms.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Sorry but legs take up the majority of your body, so you still lose. And most guys don't shave their face/chest/back, while girls kinda have too to even get a date.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

This is a convo over comments not winning or losing. No girl has enough hair on her chest that she would have to shave it. Like I said you don't see any rappers or movie stars with hairy chests. Also you must have really long legs because legs are half your body, not most.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Rappers and movie stars are a different story entirely. I don't see every person around the corner with a plastic surgery either.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Chest shaving isn't as idiotic or just Hollywood as plastic surgery.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

There's plenty of men in Hollywood with hairy chests.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Like who? And are they younger than ancient ?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Pierce Brosnan, Hugh Jackman, Matthew McConaughey. There's a lot of them. Though I guess it depends on your idea of "ancient".

This link wouldn't exist if it wasn't common. http://m.askmen.com/fashion/fashiontip/21_fashion_advice.html Scroll down to chest and back.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

The existence of a link doesn't mean something is common. But whatever, to each their own. I actually find chest hair to be very attractive, since I find it makes men look more...manly. Bare chests remind me of dolls.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah I'm not exactly defending chest shavers it's just common where I'm from. See above my last comment to soberlikekesha^

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah, I see your point. I understand trimming, but I find it kind of pointless for guys to shave their chests. It grows back REALLY fast, and it's itchy and spiky and just really inconvenient for guys with naturally hairy chests/backs.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Yeah that would be really uncomfortable to touch too.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It would. I don't even like facial scruff on guys (which is probably why I like beards) but chest scruff would be horrible.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It would be itchy for them too probly. And beards are cute. I hate How guys look when they are clean shaved on their face.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Every square inch? You're crazy if you do...

by Anonymous 12 years ago

It's your choice whether (and what) you shave. Plus, I'm pretty sure you don't shave every square inch of your body.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Lol she shaves her head.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I'm a girl and I shave my stomach, bikini area, back, legs, arms, and get my eyebrows and lip waxed. It's not manly hair, it's more of a peach fuzz type deal, but I do not like body hair.
