+213 Squirrels don't get enough credit for how awesome they are. Them climbing a tree is like a human climbing a three hundred foot building without any harnesses or safety equipment, amirite?

OMG I wish we had squirrels in Australia!

We have possums. But they seem to like climbing on my roof, not trees.

Force = mass x acceleration (gravity) So if you have less mass, it's like having less gravity acting on you. And vice versa If ants were human sized, they'd probably be crushed under the weight of their own exoskeleton before they could get around to picking up heavy shit

You're exaggerating a wee bit too much, but whatever.

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Let us examine the post."Them climbing a tree is like a human climbing a three hundred foot building..." Squirrels are probably about a foot long. Many trees are somewhere around 60 feet tall. An average human would be about five feet tall. The proportions 1/60 and 5/300 are the same, thus not exaggerated. Now I'm sure that trees range in many heights, and I was not able to measure one myself as I am not as awesome as a squirrel. I think you will agree, however, that 60 feet is reasonable."...without any harnesss or safety equipment." I probably have not personally seen the squirrels in your area, but where I live I have never seen a squirrel wear a harness or safety equipment while ascending a tree, nor have I ever in any area, thus this too is not exaggerated.
