+263 America's health care system is second only to Japan... Canada, Sweden, Great Britain... well, all of Europe. But you can thank your lucky stars we don't live in Paraguay! Amirite?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNu8XDBSn10 Dude, you need to watch that. Great Britain is an island. But hey, it still has a better health care system than you.

why does an island make a difference? Ever been on a boat or plane buddy?

You obviously have no idea that your country also contains Northern Ireland. ono

I like our health care system. Partially because changing it could really mess us up. 1. Our government [no matter which party it is] is corrupt, and they can't run shit. See: Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, THE COUNTRY 2. We have 300mill people, give or take a few mill. That is a lot. Changing health care for EVERYONE would be difficult. 3. We're broke as it is. In fact, we're trillions of dollars in debt. How can we afford this? Taxing people isn't really an option because... 4. 10% of America pays 97% of the taxes, or something insane like that. The other 90% of Americans would be the ones needing the health care services, so it's money being sucked out of the system. I see what people mean when they want everyone to have health care, but at this point in time, I really don't believe it's plausible. Plus, how they're trying to go about it seems unconstitutional IMO. But that's just my two cents. Feel free to agree or disagree.
