I'm a leftie though...does that have anything to do with it?

Yeah. There was a poster in my kindergarten class that said right-handed people are supposed to tilt their paper to the left, while lefties are supposed to just keep their paper straight.

Oh yay! I never knew that. I was told to slant my paper to the rift, but my writing looked weird so I stopped, to my teacher's dismay...
