Actually, if I think about it in a certain way, I can make my school week move fast and my weekend more slowly. Years are still rediculously long except when I'm studying for a major exam.

It's a French proverb that means "everything passes, everything falls apart, everything breaks"! And the "avec le temps" means "with time". Actually quite a good saying

That's actually a proven thing. It's because you have so much more to remember with each year that each new year is a smaller fraction of your life than the previous year was, so you remember it as a smaller, shorter part of your life.
