Did I choose to trip down the stairs twice?

Well you could tripped down the stairs different ways twice which wouldnt make it the same mistake twice.

Not necessarily, it depends in what kind of mistake... If it's a life mistake sure, but a mistake in a song in band choir or orchestra... You don't choose to make that mistake sometimes it is just a mistake you happen to make twice

I completely disagree. Often the second time one makes the mistake feels even more like a mistake than the first.

i'm preeettyyyy sure that the quote's about big life mistakes. not tripping down the stairs. no one chooses that.

i feel that it has some truth to it but to take it full face value and say that if you make a mistake twice its was a choice is kinda harsh. assuming you eventually notice what you are doing is wrong and change then this not true. it also has a tone this quote that if someone was to harm you twice you would never ever give them a chance a again and wont forgive them. Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother when he sins against me? Up to seven times? “Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.” just saying we should all be open to the person that harms us and if we truly love them or care for them try to help them and make them understand that what they are doing is hurtful or wrong.

I agree, sometimes people choose to repeat their mistakes doing it knowing that is wrong. And then soon they will regret it. -.-
