+524 The next time somebody texts me with "k", I'm going to tell them that they smell like a hippo. And when they respond with "WTF??" I'm going to respond with just "k", amirite?

I just tell them I'm not in the mood to talk about Potassium.

Did you know that Potassium is a chemical element in the periodic table. It has the symbol K. This symbol is taken from the Latin word kalium. Potassium's atomic number is 19. It has 19 protons and electrons. Potassium is not found as an element in nature, because it is so reactive. Potassium has two stable isotopes, with 20 or 22 neutrons. Its atomic mass is 39.098. SCIENCE RULES!!!!!!

K

Then they will respond back "You smell like a hippo". To which you will send "WTF????", to which they will respond "k", and the whole process repeats to the end of time.

Am I the only one getting a MLIA vibe?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I don't see what the big deal is about people just texting 'k' as a reply.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

It's hard to respond to.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But whenever someone say's "okay", they're usually the one doing the replying. Example: A- "meet me at mcdonalds" B- "k" What more is B supposed to say? "Okay, how is your day going?"

by Anonymous 13 years ago

In that scenario, it's usually ok. This only applies to a conversation. Eg, A- "My dog just died" B- "K" And I'm aware how awful that example is.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When I use 'K' I usually mean: "What you just said was difficult to reply to, how do you like this?" "I'm a little busy to tell you how my day is going right now." or "I want to end this conversation right now, but I don't want you to know that."

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yeah, that I can understand why it'd be annoying. I never use 'k' in that context so I never really saw why everybody was getting all pissed off about it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

If you're in a conversation, it's just annoying. One time, I literally sent my best friend a seven text long rant about some serious family problems I was having. Like I was in a chair crying, and I told her that. Her response was "ummm ok".

Kk is worse to me; just say okay!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Really? I think that the KKK is even worse, but that's just me.
