+383 "Because he has never denied it, there's a reasonable chance he's Muslim". Well, Obama never denied being Jesus. Can we assume that too? amirite?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

But no one's ever accused him of being Jesus though... I'm just saying.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

theres not a reason to think hes jusus, just as theres not a reason to think hes muslim. its about how he shouldnt be accused, so youd have to compare of to something hes never been accused of being.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

why is it accusation?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

because its not true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Oh I'm not saying that people have any reason to be accuse him of being Muslim, but he was nonetheless, and the fact that he was never accused of being Jesus leaves a serious flaw in this particular argument.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

no its doesnt, like i said, youd have to compare it to something hes never been accused of before.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Maybe he hasn't been accused of being Jesus. Maybe he has. Not like we would ever know every single thing that has been said to Obama.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Obviously, but there's a difference between the small speculation of one person and a public accusation of a reasonable chunk of the population.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

reasonable? So you're telling me that a reasonable portion of the American population actually thinks Obama is a Muslim in disguise? That says a lot about America then.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Yes I am, one in five as of August. http://pewresearch.org/pubs/1701/poll-obama-muslim-christian-church-out-of-politics-political-leaders-religious

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Lol. I always knew America had the craziest conspiracy theories... It's funny how the most researched and vetted man could *somehow* be hiding a big thing... Oh btw? 1 in 4 Americans believe Jesus Christ will be returning in this lifetime.. So I wouldn't base the truthfulness of claims solely on how many people believe it to be true.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You seem to have misunderstood me, not once have I said that I personally believe that Obama is a Muslim. All I said was that many Americans do.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

You seem to misunderstood me, when have I ever said you thought Obama was a Muslim? The last part of my previous comment was to anyone who was reading this and actually thinks Obama is a Muslim.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When you say something in a reply to me, I assume that you're saying it to me... My bad.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Why is it so contoversial that Obama "could" be Muslim? Muslim and Christianity are like brothers, so is Judiesm (spelling) So why does it matter they STILL believe in God but they call him Allah. The American people need to realize that obsessing over stupid things like that makes everyone in America look ignorant. It's the Muslin extremist people need to hate. If a group of Christian extremist started blowing stuff up people wouldn't take into account they are Christian as much as they would if said terrorist group was Muslim or any other religion that isn't Christian. Just so you know I am Atheist so there is no bias in this rant.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Frankly, this rant still makes you look a little ignorant, albeit not as ignorant as you accuse 'the american people' of being. Christians foremost belief (as the name suggests) is in Christ being the son of God, Muslims consider him to be a pretty minor figure, and certainly not the son of Allah. Frankly, both beliefs are ridiculous, but misrepresenting them dunn't help, either.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Well, obviously Twitchey knows that there's some kind of difference, we all do; that's why the three religions go by different names, have different places of worship, and use different books, among other things. Because they're DIFFERENT. However, that doesn't make them dissimilar. Christianity, Judaism, and Islam are much "tighter", so to speak, than, say, Christianity, Buddhism, and Scientology.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

The belief of Jesus in Islam is not "minor," it's pretty big. If you don't believe in Jesus, you can't be a Muslim. Just because we don't believe in him as the son of God, doesn't mean he's given little importance.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Judaism* Not being a spelling Nazi people, he asked.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

despite hating Obama, I agree with this post. some people are just too close minded and they come up with the stupidest accusations.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Now, I'm not a fan of Obama, but I don't get what his religion has to do with him being president. Islam is actually supposed to be a very peaceful religion, but more and more people are turning it violent [jihads, terrorism in the name of Allah, etc.] People need to leave religion out of things that don't relate to it [which is a given] unless it has to do with slicing puppies and babies open alive as a daily sacrifice to Lord Voldemort in hopes that he'd recognize your evil. That's just messed up.

I'm not a fan of Obama, but he's not a Muslim. This can say it better than I can. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jQ67cdzDyI
