by Anonymous 13 years ago

by Anonymous 13 years ago

the main word in that part was CAN

Doctors can't kill people...

by Anonymous 13 years ago

They can if the person agreed to being killed if there is no hope and the family approves. It is euthanasia

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, you idiot, that is illegal. It's called assisted suicide. I don't know of any country that allows it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Some countries in Europe allow assisted suicide, although you are right that doctors can not kill a patient, even with euthanasia when the family and patient approves. I think nurses do that (in countries where that is legal, that is).

by Anonymous 13 years ago

No, they don't. Even if there isn't a specific law, they usually get charged with either man-slaughter, or accessory to murder.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Who do you mean by 'they'? Nurses? and it really depends on the country.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I just looked this up and it is legal in 3 states: Oregon, Washington, and Montana.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Anybody. Assisted suicide is illegal. No developed countries allow you to kill anybody under ANY medical circumstance.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assisted_suicide Look at the United States, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Switzerland. Also note that several other countries are trying to legalize it.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Actually, there are 4 places on Earth where assisted suicide is legal. http://www.assistedsuicide.org/suicide_laws.html that article will pretty much prove you and anyone else arguing with me wrong. kthxbai

Actually, I think what happens is the doctor sets up the drugs, leaves the room, and then the patient presses the button, thus killing themselves. That's what makes it suicide.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

okay never mind I now know a murderer

by Anonymous 13 years ago

When there is no hope and the person have signed a paper saying that they would want to be taken off life support if there is no hope then they might decide take it off, it isn't euthanasia per say but it is close.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

That's not the same.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

if they kill someone, there's legal trouble?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

ever heard of something called malpractice?

by Anonymous 13 years ago

OK, this is all correct, but consider the following (like Bill Nye)- 1. If a doctor kills their patient, the case is observed; it's not just "oh, whatever'ed" and over. 2. Medical school takes years of studying, money, and energy. 3. Doctors are brilliant people and their jobs should not be underestimated. 4. I just dissected your joke. It was quite witty, but when you know real facts, the know-it-all part of you can come out. Bill Nye the science guy (Bill, Bill, Bill, Bill, B-B-B-Bill!)

You're ugly.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

I know, it's rather unfortunate. Meh, life goes on.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Hahaha.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Don't be dissing on doctors. You or your mother would probably have died at your birth had they not been there.

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Can't a doctor get into legal trouble if they did kill them on purpose? Plus, I think people would rather be jabbed, go under anesthesia, get the problem out then say, have an exploded appendix or something of that sort.
