+272 It seems like soon, being a white male without some form of a mental or physical disability will make companies avoid hiring you, just so they don't look like they're prejudiced against anybody, amirite?

That's pretty stupid logic, the effort to having diversity makes it fair for the (qualified) minorities, it doesn't make it unfair for the majority... if you apply for a job (and you're a white male) and your more qualified than the other person (a minority) then they won't choose the minority unless they just flat out like him/her better and think that person will bring more benefits to their company. People have the biggest misconception about companies, thinking that they're a charity. If it's more beneficial to have a bunch of dumb minorities over smart whites, then the company will choose the minorities. It's not always about how much experience or all your credentials, if you can get more clients just by being black or a woman, then they'll hire them.
