It is sad that some people care more about Charlie Sheen than they do about a 8.9 Magnitude Earthquake and Tsunami in north Japan, amirite?

I actually don't know who Charile Sheen is, i have seen him on the news but i don't care for him, i am more worried about my friends on japan than some washed up actor who went on a drug binge

One psycho girl at my school posted on fb that japan deserved it for what they did to korea and wished a million more earthquakes on them. One if the few times I'm glad I can't read minds, because I'd really be scared to know what drugs she sneaks to the conductor of her train of thought.

No I didn't, this is actually the first I've heard about the stuff going on in japan. And I didn't know what was going on with Charlie until one of my friends told me, I don't watch the news much

No, I didn't, but I'm not the one who made a self-righteous post about it. The OP has probably done nothing about it and yet he thinks he's somehow a better citizen simply because he's aware of the earthquake. This post uses a simple pathos appeal to get votes, a pathos appeal that's based on an inaccuracy: there's no actual person who "cares" more about Charlie Sheen than the earthquake victims.

big earthquake 8.9 really bad. it's so big, the tsunami will be coming to san francisco D: but it's only gonna be like 3 feet so yeah, china's earthquake was worse :/ skyscrapers fell like dominos.

I personally have only seen one snippet of Charlie Sheen on the news, ever, but a lot about the Japanese earthquake and tsunami. However I live in New Zealand and so I guess Charlie Sheen just isn't important to us.

Lol, how are you sure that people care more about Charlie Sheen? Sure he's been on the news quite a lot lately, but didn't that tsunami JUST happen? I suspect it'll be everywhere in a few hours (even though it already kinda is), then people will be more focused on Japan... Charlie Sheen will just turn in to the new Chuck Norris or something.
