What the stupid? Why not? If they're a teacher it means they stayed in school and got a degree... they've spent just as much as a person who is an engineer or a programmer. They just aren't as appreciated as much. And in pretty much any developed country outside the U.S. they DO make a lot of money

1. Most teachers make less than that. 2. 70,000 isn't bad at all.

Most teachers in my state make about half of 70k, so that number is way off. And considering the average salary is something around 40k/year, 70k is really good.
