No one can deny that Hitler was an excellent, charismatic leader, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
You can deny the excellent part.

Great leader, but his motives are just plain wrong
by Anonymous13 years ago
My dad denies it.

He was a great speaker and very charismatic, that's how he got everyone to listen to him. If his "vision" was actually a good one for the betterment of the world, many people would have followed him and the world would be a better place. But his idea of betterment was fucked up.
by Anonymous13 years ago
The thing is, people *did* follow him. He was such a good leader that he led the killing of millions of innocent people.
by Anonymous13 years ago
yeah, and it lead to genocide and a bunch of other really fucked up things (obviously). it's terrible that such a great leader was wasted on something so horrible
by Anonymous13 years ago
Charismatic? Most certainly.
Excellent? I wouldn't say that.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I would say he did a pretty darn excellent job in leading people to kill 6 million Jews. A excellent leader with good intentions? No. An excellent leader? Yes. A leader doesn't have to lead those to do good, they just have to lead people to achieve a specific goal.
by Anonymous13 years ago
He had other people do that for him though...
by Anonymous13 years ago
He KILLED millions of people. This is very offensive. NO way!
by Anonymous13 years ago
MILLIONS?! That is offensive to people that can't count that high!
by Anonymous13 years ago
HIGH?! That's offensive to people that are low!
by Anonymous13 years ago
PEOPLE?! That's offensive to nonhumans!
by Anonymous13 years ago
NONHUMANS?! That's offensive to animals!
by Anonymous13 years ago
ANIMALS?! That's offensive to aliens!

Anyone that took a decent history class on WWII should YYA this. He was actually a great leader. He did many things for the people of Germany and the country as a whole, and fixed their entire economy (which was pretty much dead). Yes, he lead them to do a terrible thing, but that does not mean his leadership skills are terrible.
by Anonymous13 years ago
If we had a leader that got us into a war that we eventually lost by playing on our emotions, we wouldn't think of them as an excellent leader.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It is actually *frightening* how great a leader he was. Great leaders are always crazy brilliant, overwhelmingly charismatic and can change the minds of large people groups. Hitler, Napoleon, Caesar, Ghengis Khan. So all the NW's you got on this post are people confusing leadership with compassion...
by Anonymous13 years ago
You have to be seriously charismatic to get people to like you when you have such ugly facial hair.
