not every "christian" is going to heaven...
by Anonymous14 years ago
you're proud of someones misery... thats not ok
by Anonymous14 years ago
yeah, he/she is probably going to go to hell for that
by Anonymous14 years ago
Just beecause you're a christian doesn't mean you'll go to Heaven. You have to work for it.
by Anonymous14 years ago
maybe youre made fun of for being christian, because you tell people theyre going to hell
by Anonymous14 years ago
This post is just so. Win.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Christians are clearly the minority.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Becoming a Christian isn't fire insurance against hell. But if you are being the true definition of a Christian then I guess you have nothing to worry about.
by Anonymous14 years ago
Well, with this post, I'm pretty sure we'll meet you there

"For it is by grace you have been saved, thriugh faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8, NIV
Even though a person who doesn't act like a Christian probably isn't a christian, we are saved by grace. We don't have to do any works to be saved, although after becoming a christian, the holy spirit should move into your heart and make you want to be nice and save others and do good works.

Holy cow, IDK what happened, but my post was posted twice. }'m on my phone, so can't really do anything about it. Sorry. =[

Rachel, thank you! The Bible clearly says that you aren't saved by works, but that doesn't mean that if you are morally a good person you are going to heaven, you have to accept Jesus into your heart, and actually believe it, there are 13 inches between heaven and hell, head knowledge, and heart knowledge. Satan knows God is real, but he doesn't love Him, and therefore he will go to hell forever!
by Anonymous14 years ago
that last sentence is completely wrong, Satan got sent to hell because he loved God TOO much that he wouldn't bow down to dirtboy and ribgirl
goes to show christians have no idea what their religion is about
by Anonymous14 years ago
wat r u talkin bout satan got sent to hell for tryin to immitate god and he thought he was god so thats y!
by Anonymous14 years ago
(meh!): Satan won't be in Hell until the end of the world, however.
For now, he's just using everything he's got to bring everyone else into suffering with him.
by Anonymous14 years ago
its people like this that turned me away from christianity....those who condem us before our ti.e is up....
by Anonymous14 years ago
Are you the type of christian who condemns all other religions?
by Anonymous14 years ago
lol good point
by Anonymous14 years ago
Too bad hell isn't real. So I won't either.

"You believe there is one God. Good! Even the Demons Believe that- and shudder." James 2:19
"Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do." James 2:18
I messed the order up on purpose; yes, there's a God, but faith without deeds is dead.
"With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be." James 3:9-10
I do not mean this post in any derogatory way, rather I wish to use the Word to teach, correct, and train in righteousness (2Timothy 3:16)
Now, go. Do as Christ did.

i cant believe how many people are agreeing with this post. im a christian and i think this chick should be stoned to death. she doesnt know what she's talking about or has a shit pastor or something.
by Anonymous14 years ago
(tequiero): I agree, we shouldn't say things like that, and that we shouldn't condemn others, but it is important to get His word out, just not like this. I also don't think we should wish death on people, maybe she's just a little confused, or maybe she does have a misleading pastor, so we should pray for her to see the truth instead of insulting her, just saying.

I'm Christian and Christians like the author of this post make me sick.
Also, as for the faith versus action argument, there are versus that support both, so the answer is both: Through grace provided by our faith we are given the opportunity to work for heaven. The faith-only philosophy is disproven by mere psychology. The cognitive dissonance theory, actions affect our attitudes, related to the foot-in-the-door phenomenon. Look it up.
