+225 Your "mental outline" for essays is such a tease; it leads you on, assuring little effort to seal the deal, then at the last minute it doesn't put out, amirite?

I'm having a tough time with an essay I'm meant to be doing, so I broke it into sections on a "mind map" kinda thing, wrote roughly what the word count for each of the sections/points should be... and I'm slowly getting there. But yes, much easier on a mind map summary, making it look more simple than it is.

I find the problem comes when you realize the sub-arguments of your overall argument are way too intertwined to argue separately without repeating yourself
