And 6 months later they have a majority government. I just hope that the same thing doesn't happen for the provincial elections.

I agree, its time to bring our country back to what it used to be. A predominantly liberal nation. Yes, the West (Alberta) has been strongly Conservative, but the East, Ontario and Eastward needs to go back to the left, where the real political power is. The only thing stopping this from happening is we dont have a strong visionary leader. (eg: Trudeau, Chretien or even Pearson). Someone who is generally well liked and respected.
