I weird we untangle the knots in our hair by pulling on them with a brush, but we don't do the same thing for knots in strings, amirite?

A) In a knot of string, there are 1 or 2 pieces tangled together, while in a hair knot it's, like, 50, and they're a whole lot thinner. B) When you brush a knot out, you are mostly ripping the hair out... which would not be good when trying to undo a knot.
