At first I thought your username was 'diarrhea' and thought it correlated to your post and I was like, "Hold on, did they get grounded for getting diarrhea? That's awful!" /coolstorybro

Grounding makes no sense. If you get grounded for bad grades, you'll probably just be pissed and hate every second of studying, not absorb anything and get worse grades. THen your parents will extend the grounding either because it obviously wasn't long enough or because they think you tried to prove them wrong
