+146 Once you experience life, it's hard to imagine there being nothing. I mean, an absence of everything. There has to be something after death, amirite?

Yes, the load screen for your last save.

wait, what? Oh. Bahahahahaa! Gdt outta here!

by Anonymous 13 years ago

Ok, just let me save first.

seems like something to hope for

(I think) it'll be just like how it was before you were born.

Sorry, that's just your instincts kicking in. You're trying to justify your existence by wanting something more to be there after you die. Pro tip: Justify your existence by leaving a good mark on those closest to you and also on those whose lives you happen to just pass by.

Though I think there is, there doesn't//have// to be something else.

It's hard to imagine there being nothing, but I don't think there has to be something after death. How does I voteth?

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I had the same thought process and said no. Just because something is hard to imagine, doesn't mean it isn't so.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

I agree with the first part, just not the second.

by Anonymous 11 years ago

Of course there has to be something after death. Decomposition!

by Anonymous 11 years ago

You just die. The only thing left is your rotten body, and even that goes back into the earth.

I think about this all the time and I don't understand how people can so confidently say that there's nothing after death. It just seems so pessimistic and dark to not hope for anything more. I obviously have no idea what comes after death but I always hope that there is something, because that thought keeps me from panicking.

Why panic? If there's nothing then you wont be aware of it anyway
