Our system of life is really just a waste. We only get 80-something years on this earth, and we spend most of it simply preparing for the next step. Life should be about experiencing as much of the world as possible, not spending 12+ years in school just to work, marry, reproduced, and die, amirite?

Well if you want to travel, you'll need a plane. Someone has to build that plane. Someone has to fly that plane. Someone has to build your hotel. Run your hotel. Someone has to make your food. Serve your food. Everyone needs an education for the world to work, you need to work to be able to gain money, and you need money to experience the world, no matter what way you look at it. Life's not that easy. Sorry for being a realistic prick.

You seem to discount the infinite joys derived from having classmates, friends, a spouse, kids, and the pride of a full life before you die. We may always be looking forward to the next step, but that constant strive for more will only give us more opportunities and experiences. Also, have you ever even TRIED Nutella?
