As the gay population increases rapidly, so must the awkwardness in school gym changing rooms, amirite?
by Anonymous13 years ago
I love gay people.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Sure, they're fine people. This has nothing to do with liking them though, does it? Straight people would feel just as awkward changing in front of their opposite gender.

Don't drop the soap. Put the soap on a rope.
by Anonymous13 years ago
that rhymes.
by Anonymous13 years ago
It does? Woah, no clue. That's some deep reading, now.

Or you could just squat instead of bending over at the waist. That trick got me through prison.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I always wonder why the people on tv don't just squat.
by Anonymous13 years ago
what are you watching on tv ;)
by Anonymous13 years ago
umm. . .nothin . . .
by Anonymous13 years ago
Squat and you're basically putting yourself into a version of the missionary position. Someone slides under you, and SLAM DAMN you're raped.

InB4: Are we assuming that all gay men/lesbians are in love with straight men/women?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hopefully YOU don't think that. But just in case, and for the inb4 predicted: it's awkward changing in front of anyone for for/by whom sexual attraction can be achieved.
by Anonymous13 years ago
No no no... don't worry. Those comments annoy me the most because then they are assuming that gays are only capable of being attracted to other gays (yet Straight girls seem to fall in love with gay guys all the time). SMH.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I wonder about the "straight girls falling for gay guys" thing, because I too have seen it a lot.
Is it because of things in common (the obvious would be love of cock), but, although most gay guy aren't feminine or interested in feminine things, clearly a lot of them are, so is it the straight girls want a partner who would watch Sex and the City or go shopping with them?
Or is it more psychological, like "You always want what you can't have" - does some subconscious make some straight women go for gay men, because gay men aren't attracted to them, so it's a "challenge"?
by Anonymous13 years ago
Yeah, I can see how it could be awkward.
Don't have much experience with school gyms, but with my gym, I usually change in the toilet/shower stall in changing rooms (for the obvious reason), and I know I can't speak for all gay guys, but I don't go into changing rooms just on the off chance I might get a glance of some guy's dong.
Like, I actually make a point not to look when guys are changing, such as in the changing rooms at work - when they take off their normal shirt to put their work shirt on, I usually look at the wall, or at least not at them if we're having a convo.
by Anonymous13 years ago
But once there are around half the class of gays, they can't all do that what you do, can they? There are only about 2-3 stalls total.
And the whole point of them making separate rooms for separate genders is so everyone feels comfortable while changing, and you wouldn't exactly call going through all of that "comfortable", now would you?
by Anonymous13 years ago
How rapidly do you think the gay population is going to increase?
Like, I do know that as social awareness and acceptance of homosexuality increases, more people will acknowledge their same-sex attraction, but I can't see anywhere near half the population being gay.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Hm, I see what you mean and you make a good point. Maybe the population itself isn't increasing at all, just the display of it is all.
Well if we could delete our posts just like we do comments, I would definitely take that post back.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Nah, I think it's an alright post - it is technically true, even if the gay population isn't increasing rapidly, it would still be awkward in a changing room. Like, I consciously try not to look, but I can't speak for every gay dude.
by Anonymous13 years ago
I'd be equally uncomfortable changing around men or women, and I don't want anyone looking at me change regardless of their orientation.
by Anonymous13 years ago
Well in that case you're just a sissy.
by Anonymous13 years ago
How?
by Anonymous13 years ago
The gay population didn't increase... more and more people are coming out. That's why it seems that way.
