That has been happening all week. We're trying to get another dog, so the shelter has our number. They called to say that that they had some dogs in, but they didn't know their ages or medical backgrounds. Then they called again to clarify that they didn't know whether the dogs were heartworm positive or whether they had had all their shots, but that they were seeing a vet later to find out. Then they called *again* to assure us that they would let us know as soon as they knew. The next day they called to say that the dogs had an appointment with the vet and they would tell us the findings. Then they called to say that the appointment was over but they didn't have the information yet. Then they called AGAIN to say that the information had still not come in but that they would tell us as soon as it did. Lather, rinse, repeat about five times. The worst part was that I couldn't just hang up on them because then we might not get a dog.
