just remember, "then is when". it has to do with time. Than is where you compare.

Acutally, I catch all of them, except its and it's. I miss them sometimes, but then and than seems like its the easiest to remember! For heaven's sake, they're pronounced differently!

yeah me too! i always remember the rules my teachers told me to remember when im writing or reading something that's messed up. i'm like "didn't your teacher tell you the rules?" i always remember the contractions especially because you are and they are is so much different from your and there
