+302 Owl City lyrics may seem odd at first, but once you begin to piece them together and look at the albums as a whole, you sort of understand them, amirite?

"Them" was not meant to refer to the band, since it is just Adam Young, but to the lyrics.

deciphering Owl City takes dedication, an open mind, hours of listening and pondering.

He's got a lot of stuff going on in his life. And everyone thinks his songs were written from him on drugs or something. They have a lot of meaning, though. I love him.

"She got a tan, and i got a sunburn" OMG PHILOSOPHICAL

"You would not believe your eyes" Describes how you should not only believe what you see, but what you hear and smell and sense. "If 10 million fireflies" Here he insinuates all the people who love him and vice versa "Lit up the world as I fell asleep" Here he's saying how they brutally skullfuck him.

Owl City is absolute shit and his music completely rips off The Postal Service. Don't waste your time "deciphering" his lyrics, they're not at all as meaningful as you think.

unless their songs are similar down to the last word, i don't think that anyone is ripping off anyone, i mean it's not like he's rewriting the postal service's songs with different lyrics. they may be similar, but they could just be from the same genre
