Its called lambda, you have to open word pad type 3BB and highlight it and press Alt +x and you will get λ

This is physics. This is a very common equation for waves. The general equation is V = (lambda) X f, with lambda, a greek letter, being that upside-down Y. Lambda is the wavelength of the wave (the distance between two crests or two troughs). So, the velocity of the wave equals the wavelength times the frequency of the wave (generally how many crests or troughs pass by a point in a second). Light is a type of wave. C represents the speed of light.
