Wait. Does it really cost that much? Or is this some kinda joke? 'Cause here we pay the equivalent of $4 for a dozen.

I never really understood the appeal of flowers. I mean they're pretty and smell good but paying over $5 for a flower doesn't seem worth it to me especially if I can just grow and pick them myself.

I work in a flower shop and roses do cost that much, but all flowers have different prices. I think it's because they take a lot of time and money to cultivate. Plus they are shipped from all over the world.
