Yeah, I used to be like that last year in maths class. But then I realized, yes, it is useless in real life, and moved on.

And it's not just about the thing you're learning, it's about learning to solve problems. Yeah, I'll probably never need to use the law of sines when I get a job, but at least I'll have some sort of practice solving problems so I'm not completely fucked when something hard comes up.
