+399 Perfumes and lotions and stuff are named weird, like why can't something just be lavender instead of "ooh la la lavender", amirite?

Because Jessie Cave is smokin'.... What?

It's easier to get men to buy perfume for their girl if a sexy woman runs their tongue along their $4,000 lips before purring "ooh la la lavender", than it is for them to just say "...lavender".

It sounds nicer :) it's a marketing thing I assume. Like how if you're smelling nice things or hearing loud music you buy things easier? Maybe if things sounds more pleasing to the ear you want to buy it more.

Nail polish by OPI and Essie have weird and strange names for their colors. It's kind of cool though. It's cute and sounds better than just a color.

My favorite OPI name is "I'm Susie and I'm a chocoholic" The funny thing is the color is really red with a touch of brown, not chocolate. And yes, I mainly bought it because of the name.
