+331 You can describe a person as being sour, bitter or sweet, but there's no sense in calling them salty, amirite?

Well, no one is called savory either.

White, dusty, and awful in concentrated doses. I can call my mom salty.

I think salty means to be improper, like "she's kind of... salty" would probably be the nice way of saying she has a lot of sex and drinks and swears and doesn't care about education, etc.

Nope, that's just being loose.

I call people salty. It's like saying someone's all uptight today and all bitchy. When someone's acting like that to me, I say "Well SOMEONE'S a little salty balls today."

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Well salty can mean tough and aggressive or it can mean witty and sharp.
