I wonder if our pets know that we're sleeping. Like, we know when they're asleep; do they know when we are? Or do they just think that we like to lay really still and quiet for hours at a time? amirite?

I think they know. I mean, they sleep too so they could probably notice the similarities.

They know we're asleep, how else would they know to wake us up at 2, then 3, then 5, then 6?

My theory is that (I'm talking about cats) think humans sleep as much as they do, but when we leave the house for school or work or whatever, we're just going off to sleep somewhere else. And yeah I'm pretty sure they know we're asleep because they're usually asleep too.
