The first thing to get cut is always the arts. I say we just cut the superintendent's salary, amirite?

Okay maybe schools should keep "the arts" kids hate math, lets take that one away.
It's bad in theory that they take away the arts, but in the end its the only option. FYI superintendent is a very hard job and they don't make enough money. They have to try and please everyone but it can't be done. People are VERY particular about their kids.

I agreed with the second part, but not "kick the math" part
are you serious? -_-

its called sarcasm.

But he was going all serious after that, which made me doubt it hahas

Not paid enough? My superintendent drives a damn Porche Carrera. And his wife has a Range Rover...

maybe his wife has a great job. Maybe his parents or grandparents were rich and he got an inheritance. You can't assume.

Wouldn't it be considered assuming that "maybe his wife has a great job. Maybe his parents or grandparents were rich and he got an inheritance"?
His wife is a teacher that works in the same ISD by the way.

I think you replied to the wrong person
and i think your sarcasm radar is broken hahas.

I think some arts are fine to cut. I don't understand when they cut like, photography or art major, but I'd be fine with them cutting things like basket weaving and eastern European bracelets.
by Anonymous12 years ago
your school has basket-weaving? damn. at our school they're thinking about cutting everything
by Anonymous12 years ago
No, I'm just using that as an example... They cut TV production though...

My middle school cut chorus. I thought it was really stupid because 1.More people wanted to be in chorus than Orchestra 2. We had a lot of families who didn't have enough money to buy or rent an instrament.
So, we had a chorus class of about 12 people and got no funding. It was also taught by the band teacher in his free period.

Although I've never watched it, I feel like this post had to be the plot of at least half of the Glee episodes
