+215 It's kind of neat how your brain works. When you see something you're looking for, your brain takes that half a second to recognize the object, then sends a message to the needed body parts. So it's not exactly instantaneous when you find something and take it, amirite?

Your body will also do stuff without the brain telling it too. Certain instincts are done with the brain not once asking our body to move.

That's true. Like if you try to splash water in your face, your body instinctively shuts your eyes. Same with sneezing, you can't sneeze with your eyes open.
