+381 It's annoying when you go to a friend's house and you're starving, so you hint that you want food, but they fail to get the point and don't give you anything, amirite?

and they 1. say, "oh, no im not hungry" or 2. get themselves something while you stare hungrily at it

~My life story~ I was at my friends house My friend asks "are you hungry" Me - "uhm a little" Friend proceeds to get herself food while I stare hungrily at it :(

If they're really your friend you just go to the pantry and take some food.

thats rude

When I go over to my really close friends' houses, it's like a home away from home. They do it at my house and I do it at theirs.

But I guess that's becaus I'm really close. With pretty much all of my friends. Maybe if I was hanging out with someone who wasn't one of my best friends I wouldn't do that.

Then I usually just give up and say something like "I'm hungry. Get me some food." That usually works. :)

Well at my FRIENDS, yes. At my bestfriend's house I'm like "okay I'm hungry brb" and go get something from their fridge/pantry.

Is that how you're supposed to do it? I'm always just like "Hey, I'm hungry, got any food?" and then I proceed to eat half of everything in their fridge. Always seems to work for me...

I hate it when every time one of my friends comes over they eat all my food/tell me im a bad cook. It makes me not want to feed them.

I hate how, whenever their parents ask if your hungry, your friend just says no so you can't even admit your hungry without feeling rude. On top of that, whenever they come over, they keep asking for food so you stuff em' with all the food in the world. :/

It depends on how they are raised? I would never eat something without having my friend have something as well. I always offer something to eat and my friends usually offer something as well when I'm over. It's how you should treat visitors in your home.

I just ask for some crisps or something...
