Karma: When you replace the toilet paper, and then are the first to use it, amirite?
by Anonymous12 years ago
why is this homepaged?
by Anonymous12 years ago
why is this a bad thing..
by Anonymous12 years ago
It's not? Karma means you get what you give, and that doesn't just stop at bad things. You did something good so you'll get something good in return and if you do something bad, you'll receive something bad.

"Karma: When you DIDN'T replace the toilet paper, and then are the first to use it, amirite? "
Is that what you meant? :3
by Anonymous12 years ago
That would make a lot more sense...

No people, the post is right. Karma isn't only just bad stuff. If you replace the tp, then you end up having to use it, it's already replaced and you don't get stuck without it.

But this is not a significantly amazing event. No average person will go to the bathroom thinking, "SCORE! I just replaced the toilet paper roll! Now I get to use the first sheets!"
The OP couldn't have thought of an event more uplifting than being the first to use the toilet paper you just replaced? He could've said, "Karma: giving a beggar on the street a ten-dollar bill, then finding a hundred-dollar bill walking around the block."

Well, I didn't say it was POTD material or anything XD it's just that most of the comments seemed to indicate that people didn't understand. But yeah, there could have been a less mundane example.

You know, there's not just BAD karma.... There's good karma too....
by Anonymous12 years ago
To me, that's just being proactive. It should be something selfless, not something that benefits you as well. (the act that gives you "good karma")
by Anonymous12 years ago
I thought I misread this until I saw all the 'no ways'..I feel a mixture of relief and confusion
by Anonymous12 years ago
Eh, I see karma more as the things we get in this life because of what we did/didn't do in the last. This sort of thing I see more as fortune, but that's me.

Karma: When you don't take the time to think of a clever post, and then end with 60+ NWs.

Karma-when you notice the toilet roll needs replacing before the event
