The scars aren't fucking beautiful you naive retard

I'm so scarred up my arms, my stomach, my legs, my ankles, and my thighs that it's impossible not to notice. I get stares and whispered assumptions and never ONCE has someone called them beautiful. So I don't know the fairy-tale you live in, but to most people, my scars mark me as a freak, not as a fucking survivor.

Same here. You can tell the way people look at them that they're wondering what the hell is wrong with you, not "Oh, they must've went through a lot because of those 'beautiful' scars".

Exactly. And even people close to me never call them beautiful. They say they "don't mind them" or "barely notice them anymore" but never once has a friend/boyfriend called them beautiful.

Mhm, they say they don't notice them. They have never called them beautiful. And with a boyfriend, they would tell me not to do that to myself. I've actually had two guys tell me they were "gross". I'm sure not everyone thinks that, but I know a lot of people must. Beautiful? Nahh. That's out of the question for me.

Oh, they'd give me those "stop that, you don't deserve that" lectures. But when it came down to it, only one of them ever got me to stop. The others would tell me to quit, but not care if they found out I didn't.

Yup. God sometimes I really really hate people. I'm an extremely loyal friend and I get pissy when they don't act the same for me.
