You should. I hate women that behave like that, I find it nice and courteous when a man holds a door open for me (or offers his jacket to me or something like that). It doesn't mean I need a man to do so, I can easily provide for myself (and am doing so), but I can still appreciate the gesture.

I always hold the door open for anybody, and when this happens I just say, "if you want to open the door so fucking bad, just go back outside and do it.". The hilarious part was once it was a quite heavy door and they actually did what I said just to prove their point, and they couldn't.

It goes both ways though, to be clear here. It drives me absolutely insane when men won't allow me to hold the door open for them.
