The only reason Americans prefer AM/PM to "military time" is because they find it hard to count to 24 so they stop at 12 and start again amirite?

It's just easier...and we're not stupid =/

Same here. My watch is set to military time and I always tell people what time it is in military time. It's really not that hard to use.

I've never heard of anywhere that they use military time on a daily basis. And don't bash Americans. America has no more unintelligent people than any other country, and most of us are smart and sucessful.

I'm American and I hate the military time system. Why? It's not because I'm stupid, but because the 12 hour system is a bit easier. It's not because I'm lazy either, because when you're in a rush, using the 12 hour system is just easier. There's nothing wrong with it.
