Who has a vegetable drawer?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

I have vegetable-print drawers. ...BUT DON'T TELL ANYONE!

(Chauncy Pickles): what is that?

by Anonymous 12 years ago

"Vegetable" is a culinary term, not a scientific one. A food can be both a fruit and vegetable.

I thought fruits had seeds, and vegetables were roots. I might have made that up...

Well that can't be right, because spinach is the leaf of the plant, and broccoli is a flower. Also, mushrooms are sometimes considered vegetables even though they're not plants at all.

No they're currently on the counter.

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Woh. They should be refrigerated girl!

by Anonymous 12 years ago

Tomatoes can be kept either way and refrigerating slows down the ripening process so if you plan on eating them in the near futer leave them on the counter

Futer lawlz.

They throw them at you in Fruit Slicer...

Putting tomatoes in the fridge makes them taste funny. You're not supposed to. You have to just eat them within a couple of days so they don't go off. Same with bananas and potatoes, but with those they'll actually get ruined if you put them in the fridge.
